This is not an emergency service
Spokane Community Help is a volunteer-run community site. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any emergency agency.
Nobody monitors it around the clock. Never rely on it in a life-threatening situation — call 911.
Official information
Evacuation zones, shelters and weather alerts are mirrored from Spokane Regional Emergency Communications and the National Weather Service. Every panel names its source and shows when it was last read.
That data can still lag behind the real situation, and our copy can fail in ways the original does not. Where the answer matters, use the official source directly, and always follow the instructions of officials on the ground over anything shown here.
Posts by the public
Requests and offers are submitted by members of the public. Urgent requests are published automatically and marked as not yet checked. Everything else is reviewed by a moderator first.
Review is not verification. No identity check, background check or vetting of any kind is performed on anyone posting here. Treat every listing as you would a stranger’s message: meet in public where you can, tell someone where you are going, and stop if something feels wrong.
Using the site
Do not use this site to:
- Solicit money, sell goods or services, or advertise.
- Post another person’s details, or an address that is not yours to share.
- Impersonate an agency, a charity, or another person.
- Harass, threaten, or target anyone.
Posts can be removed at any time, for any reason, without notice. Any post reported by several people is hidden automatically until a moderator reviews it.
